There are two ways you can support the work of Freedom 8848: support an athlete or support the organization. Either way, you’ll be supporting our partner organizations doing the front-line work of Prevention, Rescue and Restoration. Payments can be made on-line using one of the links below, or by cheque or cash. See payment details below.

Support an Athlete

You can help an athlete reach or exceed their fund raising goal to support their climb during the annual Everest Freedom Challenge event.

Use the button below to go to the FundRazr website to select the athlete you want to support and complete your credit card payment. You’ll also be able to read each athlete’s story and follow their progress.

Most of your donation goes to our Parter organizations to be applied to their work in sex trafficing prevention, rescue, and victim restoration.

You can support the organization with administrative costs and the costs of running our events, like the Everest Freedom Challenge. Note that all of our people are volunteers, so none of your donation goes to wages.

Some key projects in need of funding that your donation will help support:

  • Website hosting and maintenance: Critical for the success of any organization today.
  • Software subscriptions and licenses: used for graphic design for our marketing and outreach, prevention, and education presentations.
  • Recruitment initiatives: helping us to reach more athletes passionate about raising support for our partner organizations.
  • Promotional materials: such as banners and posters used during presentations to spread the word of what we and our partners are doing in the fight to end sex trafficking.
  • Sponsorship of Registration Cost: athletes pay a registration cost which covers all their logistical needs for the event such as camping fees, food, and insurance. This cost may be a barrier for some athletes interested in signing up. Your donation can reduce this cost for specific individuals who demonstrate need.

Payment Details

  • Using either button above you can make your donation with a credit card.
  • Make any cheques payable to The Great Commission Foundation.
  • Cash and cheque donations can either be delivered to one the Freedom 8848 leadership team or mailed to:

  • For cheques, put the following in the memo field, “4M – Freedom 8848 – athlete’s name“.
  • Be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and email address when you make a donation so that we can send your tax receipt.
  • Also include the name of the athlete if you are supporting one, and any message you would like to appear on their campaign page.
  • Whichever way you donate, you’ll receive a Canadian tax receipt. The receipt will be issued by The Great Commission Foundation.
